Ms. Erin Bridson | Co-Director

Bsc Nursing

Erin has 25 years of nursing experience within regional, remote and tertiary level
hospitals with a primary focus on critical care. Erin works as a clinical nurse
educator for East Care Connect, the virtual and digital health directorate at East
Metropolitan Health Service and is the education lead and facilitator of Nexus, the
foundational human factors healthcare training at Royal Perth Bentley Group. Erin is currently completing a Master of Health Profession (research) at University of Western Australia with a focus on healthcare human factors and health profession education.

Serving as a co-director of a not-for-profit association is important to me, as I
believe that provision of high-quality education for all healthcare workers drives
equitable access, reduces geographical barriers, strengthens learning through
collaboration and upholds standards that meaningfully enhance clinical
outcomes. Ultimately, I believe that WAVE association can contribute to
improved, consistent outcomes for patients across diverse healthcare settings.
