Peter is an Intensive Care Specialist at Royal Perth Hospital and a Co-Director of WAVE. He works in both Intensive care and Palliative and has interests in mechanical ventilation, pre-hospital medicine, voluntary assisted dying (VAD), and medical ethics. He is anti-dogma, with a particular interest in clinical decision-making that openly acknowledges uncertainty and manages it safely.

Peter co-founded WAVE with the aim of sharing the strength of WAs knowledge and approaches to mechanical ventilation across the state and more broadly.

Through WAVE, his focus is on thoughtful, modern ventilation teaching and education, and fostering cultures where high-quality care is delivered collaboratively across disciplines at the bedside.
