Dr Jessica Tearne is the Senior Clinical Psychologist in the Mental Health Consultation and Liaison Service at Fiona Stanley Hospital. She has a strong research and clinical interest in the impact of traumatic life events on mental health. Jessica previously held the position of Research Associate in the School of Psychology and Speech Pathology, Curtin University and Senior Research Officer at the Telethon Kids Institute.

Her research to date has focused on women’s and children’s mental health, predictors of risk and resilience for developing acute and post-traumatic mental health diagnoses, and unique risks for women and girls post disaster.
